Meeting Recap

Greetings fellow Rotarians!  Today we held our annual scholarship luncheon where we granted scholarships of $1,000.00 to each of six area high school students who have demonstrated their commitment to service above self throughout their high school careers.  The recipients from Essex High School were Nipunike Coe and Jacob Bleau. The Center for Technology recipients were Christina Bhandari and Nick Jewett.  Scholarships were also awarded to Brooks Moreau and Lydia Stricker from Mount Mansfield Union High School. The meeting concluded with the presentation of the Carolyn Barra Memorial Scholarship to Ethan Benton.  This $3,000.00 scholarship is annually awarded to a student who excels academically and has demonstrated a commitment to both service and the performing arts.  Congratulations to all of today’s scholarship recipients for their well-deserved awards!  A special thank you goes out to Dave Barra and his Scholarship Committee for putting this event together and for coordinating the scholarship awards with the students and their respective schools.

If you haven’t done so already, please be sure to sign up for a shift.
