Annually, Essex Rotary contributes money to help fund the $25,000 needed to put on this event. We need club members and friends to consider volunteering to pack meals during the event.
We have 50 packing slots reserved to fill for this 2 hour time commitment with the goal to pack over 100,000 meals! If you join the effort, we bet this will be one of the highlights of your year - so much fun and fulfilling.
Amy Jackman coordinates this community volunteer opportunity for Essex Rotary.

Essex Rotary's own Jim Olsen is back!! After taking a break from Rotary, Jim made changes to his own home television and internet systems. In the process he learned a lot about something many of us do not understand well. If you know Jim, you won't be surprised that he decided to share what he learned with others in the region. So far he has presented very successful workshops for residents in Milton, Essex Junction and St. Albans. At our meeting he will offer a shortened version of his 75 minute workshop designed to help seniors better understand their TV and internet bills, explore practical ways to lower monthly costs, and gain confidence with today's complex viewing options. Attendees will leave with step-by-step guidance, plain-language explanations, and take-home resources they can use to make informed decisions at their own pace. If you want to learn more about what Jim has learned and how he presents the information, visit his website here: https://hawksolutionsvt.com/. Bring your questions and describe your own situation so we can learn from each other!! |
