Greetings fellow Rotarians! Our last meeting of the Rotary year was dedicated to our charitable committees.  Each committee delivered a report about the projects they have supported and the money they have spent. This was a great opportunity to learn about the many people and causes we have helped throughout the year and the impact our fund-raising efforts have global, national and local levels.

 

 

            If you haven’t paid your 2018-2019 Rotary Dues yet, please do so immediately.  If, however, you do not intend to renew your membership, please let our Board of Directors know. Dues may be paid online, or in person, but they must be paid by June 29^th at the latest.  Any members who do not remit payment of their dues by that date will be dropped from our Club’s roster. 

 

 

            Please join Bill, Lois Parmelee and the rest of Team Life is Good for the Champlain Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s event.  This fund-raiser will be held at the Shelburne Museum on September 16^th.  Bill and Lois are looking for fellow Rotarians who can either round out their team or come to cheer them on.  For more information about how you can support this cause please visit www.alz.org or contact Bill Parmelee at wparmelee@gmail.com

 

 

            The next opportunities to volunteer will be on Monday, July 9th at 5:15pm; Thursday, July 26th at 6:15pm; Monday, August 13th at 5:15pm; Thursday, August 23rd at 3:30pm; Monday, September 10th at 5:15pm; and Thursday, September 27th at 3:30pm. Please let Sharon Dettenrieder know if you are able to fill any of these shifts.

 

Upcoming Meeting Schedule:  Wednesday, July 4, 2018 – Due to the holiday, we will not be holding a meeting next week. Our next meeting will be on July 11, 2018 and our speaker will be Vermont Governor Phil Scott.
