       Greetings Rotarians!  Today’s speaker was Charlie Carpenter from Efficiency Vermont.  Charlie discussed the manner in which his organization assists both commercial and residential property owners in maximizing the energy efficiency of their homes and buildings.  Through the use of innovative technologies and energy credits that are available through a variety of programs, individuals and businesses can save thousands of dollars each year in energy costs.  Charlie used the new Essex Police Department as an example of a building that has implemented energy saving measures.  The long-term benefits of implementing these measures will save the community thousands of dollars each year.  For more information about this organization and the cost-saving benefits it offers, please visit its website at https://www.efficiencyvermont.com/

 

 

            The drive for another successful Golf Tournament is now officially on!  Every Rotarian is asked to do his or her part in securing cart and hole sponsors for this event.  This is our Club’s biggest fundraiser, so it is important that everyone helps out with this effort!

 

 

            The Rotary Leadership Institute is being held on April 11, 2015 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.  This is a great opportunity for newer Rotarians to learn more about potential leadership positions within the Club.   Please visit http://www.rlinea.org for more information about this event.  Our Club will cover the registration fee for anyone who would like to attend.  Don’t forget to also mark your calendars for the District Conference which will be held at the Stoweflake in Stowe from May 29^th through May 31^st.  Registration materials for this event may be found on the District 7850 website at www.rotary7850.org
