Annual Rotary Speech Competition
District Speech Contest purpose is to help youth, community and Rotarians to understand, encourage and foster the principles and values of Rotary. This Round #2 will involve the three winners of Club competitions - and will include the Essex Rotary winner.
Principles like the Service Above Self; the 4-Way Test*; and the annual theme of Rotary International are used for speech topics.
Join your local high school and local Rotary Club's efforts to expand public speaking opportunities for students.
*4-Way Test of the things we think, say or do: Is it the truth? Is it Fair to all concerned? Will it build Good will and Better Friendships? Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?
