become a member of Rotary, you must be sponsored in by an existing member.
If you are interested in joining Rotary, but do not know any Rotarian’s,
contact the President of any Rotary Club and they will assist you.
Community Service -- One of the
most important reasons for becoming a Rotarian is to provide your Community
and Club’s focus with a “Service Above Self” philosophy.
Charitable Projects -- All Rotary
Club’s support many different ways of Community support. Essex Rotarian’s
serve in the following manner;
All
Essex Rotarians must join one of our “Charitable Project Committees” located
in our “Organization Chart” of our Website,
within the 1st Month of Membership.
Future Leadership -- In order for any
Rotary Club to grow, develop and prosper, it is encouraged that our Members
aspire to becoming involved as a Club Officer and or Board Member. We also
encourage members to join several of our Committee’s both for Fund Raising
and Service Projects.
Rotary International -- To learn more
about Rotary as an Organization please visit our website and explore the
various sections for more information.
Annual Dues -- Dues are established by
the Essex Rotary Club board of directors. Members are required to pay dues
annually. At present, annual dues are $200.
-
The Rotary year is from July 1st
thru June 31st
-
Dues are collected within 30-days
of notice
-
After 60-days, a late notice will
be sent
-
After 90-days, final notice will be
sent
-
If dues are not received within
30-days of final notice, membership will be terminated
New members of
Essex Rotary Annual Dues must be paid up front before Inauguration.
Please note that the annual dues will be prorated based on the Inauguration
date.
Everyone (without exception) must pay their dues within 30 days of
receiving their invoices. If they are not received after thirty days, the
Club sends them another invoice and a warning; if another 30 days pass by,
they get another warning that if they fail to pay their dues within the next
30 days, their memberships will be terminated. If those 30 days pass by,
their memberships would be terminated. The goal is to have everyone pay
their dues by November 1st at the latest.
